From November 2021 to October 2022 at BYJU'S, contributed to the development of interactive educational games that blended narrative-based learning with engaging puzzles and challenges. Since May 2023 at Rendered Ideas, worked on F2P mobile games and premium TV platform games, focusing on feature design, system design, and monetization strategies to enhance player engagement and retention.
Rendered Ideas (June 2023 - Present)
At Rendered Ideas, contributions were made to mobile games such as 1945 Galaxy Shooter, Street Fight, and Strike Force, all centered around F2P (Free-to-Play) gaming experiences. The role involved designing features, developing monetization strategies, and creating system designs, with a strong focus on balancing game mechanics to boost player engagement and retention.
Emphasis was placed on crafting engaging gameplay features, scaling difficulty, and optimizing monetization models to deliver a seamless and rewarding experience for players.
1945 Galaxy Shooter
Contributed to the development of "1945 Space Shooter," an arcade game with over 7,000 levels, by designing 2,000+ levels and creating enemy designs. Played a key role in crafting daily and weekly events that boosted player retention and increased average session length. The game had around 25k daily active users (as of Jan 2024)
Street Fight
Played a key role in the development of "Street Fight," a platform beat-'em-up game, focusing on level design and enemy design. Levels were crafted using an in-house engine, ensuring efficient creation, iteration, and testing. The game achieved a 40% Day 7 retention rate, significantly surpassing industry standards.
Games on Roku Platform
The Roku platform, known for its vast user base in US and UK and focus on delivering premium model games, served as the foundation for developing over 10 games, including titles like Road Cross, Fruit Cutter, and Zombie Shooter. Led a team of developers and artists to introduce new features, design levels, and organize live events for these games. Took full responsibility for frequent iterations across all game aspects, utilizing data-driven designs to optimize the gaming experience and report key findings to project stakeholders.
BYJU's (October 2021 - November 2022)
These experiences exhibited below are part of BYJU'S active learn journeys where the user is provided with an interactive fun experience where they can play with predetermined elements. These experiences include narrative based learning objectives where user have to solve a puzzle, challenges or select the best option to complete a process.
Silk formation
Silk formation is 3D strategic game where the objective for the player is to make silk cloth starting from scratch to lustrous cloth. Players can interact and make their own customised cloth on their own with step-by-step process.

Battle Bots
Battle Bots was the first 3D game which I worked as an Intern with my senior game designer. This game finely set as a battle between bots and feedback will be triggered based on the answer chosen.

Angle Theorem
Ideated and created the game plot for the players to know more about sum of interior angles. As a Game designer, I designed the feedback, levels and its progression and the interactions and game plot enhancements.

Potential energy game is inspired from Angry birds where the players can load the stones, stretch the catapult and aim the bulbs to hit them. So they can simultaneously know about how potential energy increases and decreases when they stretched..
